You asked, ‘Who is this that obscures my plans without knowledge?’ Surely I spoke of things I did not understand, things too wonderful for me to know. (Job 42:3)
As our Wonderful Counselor, the wisdom, knowledge, and perspective of Jesus is greater than we can know. He holds a lot of power and authority to know and see everything. But our Savior is as compassionate as he is wise. And because God sent Jesus to be among us, he is also a Savior who understands us. He knows our desires and hopes. He knows our grief. He knows our struggles. He knows us. Through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, we have hope now. There is always more to the story because of Jesus.
How could it change your perspective to know your Savior sees beyond what you can see?
God, I cannot understand what you know. Your wisdom is infinite. You know all things. Thank you for being a God who not only knows all things but also knows me personally. I give you my plans, desires, and cares. I rest in the knowledge that you see much more than I ever could and that I always have hope through the gift of your Son.
