I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you. (Psalm 32:8)
Many of us have gone to counseling to help us navigate the complexities of life. Counselors can be a great support. They can help us see things differently and help us take steps that are for our benefit. But as our Wonderful Counselor, only Jesus offers us strength and peace to sustain us in the midst of something uncertain. Only Jesus offers us his very presence. His Spirit gives us what we need, even when we can’t see what’s next.
