Students are surrounded by stories, music, and images that influence the way they think about relationships. And these influences can lead to a distorted view of love and their own worth. That’s why we’re spending three weeks talking specifically about Life and Love in the Middle School World. 

Students will learn…

• What we look at influences us, so we should make wise choices about what we watch on our screens. God doesn’t want us to be mastered by anything.
• We shouldn’t sexualize any relationship during middle school. It’s important to set physical boundaries that are holy and honorable.
• In this season of life, we should focus on being great friends and learning to value others.

As their parent or guardian, you are still the biggest influence in your student’s life. You may be finding as your student gets older that these conversations are getting more and more challenging.
